Fwiw, builds and runs fine on macppc. $mplayer -v MPlayer SVN-r30866 (C) 2000-2010 MPlayer Team AltiVec found CPU: PowerPC It rendered fine various .avi, .wmv, .flv, .mp4, .mp3 and .rm files. Landry
