I've cleaned up the port a bit and added a patch that makes Redis pass all the tests on sparc64 (adapted from the commit Salvatore Sanfilippo made to his git repo). I'd also like to take maintainership if you don't care, just because I'm already in contact by mail with Salvatore... Ok to import? ciao, david
