So to be clear you have tried T on other archs such as amd64 or i386
and cannot reproduce this? Also on your sparc64 system have you
attempted to create another user and run T with a clean home dir
and thus no other configuration files and so on?

I agree about the -gui to -gtk change. Since I had been proding a little bit
about the Qt4 front end ;)
