The problem is the original source (looks like sourceforge) doesn't have that version of the version of zipios++ in the Makefile (zipios++_0.1.5.9+cvs.2004.02.07.orig.tar.gz). The original mirror was about the same thing, just debian's instead. Unfortunately it wasn't working, so I switched it to the ubuntu mirror that did have it. There are quite a few ports that are like this. Also, There are a large number of ports, and it's very difficult to keep up with version bumps. Some projects don't like to archive past releases, so a ports user has to wait for the timeout, just to hit the OpenBSD mirrors we'd rather not have them go to anyways. My general assumption is that bandwidth and resources are the reasons why we don't want to use the OpenBSD mirrors as the main site. If so should I politely ask sites that host for other distributions if they'd let us use bandwidth for distfiles hosting? Use FreeBSD / Gentoo mirrors? - Onteria
