All I can say for now is that py-poppler will be broken after we
update to poppler-0.16, but this shouldn't stop you from importing
py-poppler (and pdfshuffler).
Fixing things for the poppler update is my job, and it'll take some
more time (not only does it break the API, but it also doesn't
compile with gcc-3).

ps; I *strongly* discourage *any* project from using poppler.
Breaking the API betwenn 0.14 and 0.16 (which is now considered
'stable' upstream, so 0.14 won't get any bugfixes) is completely
irresponsible. It's just another way to say `fuck you, users. fuck
you, developers. fuck you, distributors.'
