No. In xterm, the Delete key deletes what is behind the cursors. It
also does so when I boot into console mode rather than into X.org.
But for some reason, it works different in Firefox.

This Apple keyboard has no Backspace key, only a Delete key, which
is located in the same spot as the Backspace key would be on a non-
Apple keyboard. In both xterm and the console, the Delete key is
treated as a Backspace key, but for some reason Firefox refuses to
do likewise.
