updating to the same version?

Just updated my curremt/amd64 and doing pkg_add -ui.
With some ports, it seems to be updating to the same version:
for example,

        groff-1.21p8: (extracting) ... (deleting) ... all that
        groff-1.21p8->groff-1.21p8: ok

Did it really reinstall the very same package (why?)
or am I missing something?
