Hi,

I've installed dovecot-2.1.8 from packages on OpenBSD 5.2 amd64, and
it doesn't seem to be working at all.

Cns# tail /var/log/maillog

pipe() failed: Too many open files

Cns# fstat | fgrep -e USER -e dovecot | tail -1
root dovecot 22388 126 pipe 0xfffffe81d54015b0 state:
Cns#

It must be hitting the ":openfiles-cur=128" limit from /etc/login.conf.

What would be the proper way to address this?

C.
