distribution) are now broken.
They used to work with R-2.15.2.

It appears to be the same problem found 11 years ago, on R 1.4.1 (w/
OpenBSD 3.0).

Now *that's* a regression.
Our port doesn't go that far back, though, and the old bug is still
marked as 'new', so I have no idea how it got fixed. Is Jason Turner
