Sorry for the lack of details. man saslauthd
I am using term=xterm on OpenBSD 5.4 amd64 architecture. The package came from ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/5.4/packages/amd64. I have found this on four of my OpenBSD amd64 machines. This very well could be just me and I have done it three times but it I have not found any other man pages with the same issue.
