I won't mind to backport this patch unless someone objects. How much
actual harm does the bug produce?
To me, A LOT of harm.
About half of the times I try to access (usually via Dolphin or Kate) a
remote directory/file through SFTP it gives an error! Then I have to
reload two, three, four, five times... and at last it succeed.
It's REALLY disturbing.

Sorry, I probably missed your mail. There isn't that much traffic,
though, you're right. But I still prefer to have a group instead of a
single person responsible for such relatively large project - this way
reports and discussions will be visible to anyone interested.
