The database is correct, per pkg_check, but you have PARTIALLY installed gtk+2. You can delete this partial package, manually, with # pkg_delete partial-gtk+2 And, if you want to start over, with a corrected $PKG_PATH or /etc/pkg.conf configuration pointing to a mirror near you, rather than the primary file server in Canada, for better function, you will have greater success. If you want to remove all packages, you can use the -X option: # pkg_delete -X That will delete all packages, as described in the pkg_delete(1) man page. If you have any third party firmware installed as packages, you will want to include their names after the "-X" to ensure they are not removed. The example command, shown below, will list any firmware packages you may have installed.. $ ls -d /var/db/pkg/*firm*
