Looks fine, changes from your tarball:
- no need to patch for the install prefix, use FAKE_FLAGS.  I don't
  think that the hunk dealing with INSTALL was useful
- spacing nits in Makefile
- one typo in README

I don't have a use for this but I find it ready to import, ports-wise.
