Hello,

Has anybody been able to actually edit video with multimedia/lives?
I've never been able to get past loading a video, at which point the
application crashes without any debug message except the now-familiar
"lives has crashed" message. When I run the application in gdb, I get a
segv here:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0x00001d2688b95c30 in gdk_rgb_convert_0888 () from
/usr/local/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.2400.0
(gdb) bt
#0 0x00001d2688b95c30 in gdk_rgb_convert_0888 () from
/usr/local/lib/libgdk-x11-2.0.so.2400.0

The backtrace doesn't say much more than that. This has happened on
amd64 with 6.0 and 6.1.

Best,

Kristaps

hello,

I don't know much about lives, but could you try to increase the memory
limit allowed for a process ? I think it may takes too much memory.

Regards
