Hi ports --Attached is a new port, lang/algol68g. algol68g is the Algol 68 Genie compiler-interpreter system.
--- pkg/DESCR: The Algol 68 Genie project preserves and promotes Algol 68 out of educational as well as scientific-historical interest, by making available a recent checkout compiler-interpreter written from scratch together with extensive documentation for both the language and this new implementation. Algol 68 Genie is a fast compiler-interpreter which ranks among the most complete implementations of the language. --- Notes:* If you are on amd64 or i386, you get both the compiler and the interpreter. Otherwise, you just get the interpreter. * The compiler is built into the interpreter binary, so there's no PLIST difference.
* There is a 700 page manual at $HOMEPAGE to learn all about the language.Successfully compiled and interpreted a "hello world" algol68 program on amd64. Successfully errored out on all my other attempts to write algol68 code.
