Thanks for confirming. I will commit this fix. jcs@ points out that the REVISION bump is not needed. So you should remove the 1.6.3p1 package, set REVISION back to 0 in the Makefile, build a 1.6.3p0 package, and install that. This should avoid problems during future updates for you.
