I was gonna reply in the same tone that you did, but if I do, you will
just take it as i took your reply, searching to win a non existent
fight...
The fact is Mr. Espie that i saw the port and I still think that we
should remove it.
I accepted the community rejection to my removal request and left note
of why I think that this port has no place in the ports tree.

You are right, before removing it, we should port xpra first. That
does not make me responsable to port it, neither makes you or anybody
else responsable for that, because I'm not rushing and asking for
people with CVS access to destroy the evil port, I just said that it
might be a candidate for replacement. I will non the less see about
porting xpra and coming back with substance to ask for the same,
because you are right!

Now... You say that you HATE people "like me", well, the fact is that
you are wrong (about me), and prove of this its my work on mostly
python ports, I'm taking maintainer of lots of python ports, including
x11/terminator, wich I updated to free it from gtk2, I'm also helping
actively with testing the new kde5 ports to replace the old kde4 apps,
and updating a big chunk of pytest dependencies to keep updating
python ports I found x11/partiwm.

Size is not the issue here, and I am pretty minimalistic... My idea of
changing lots of python ports to have a single copy of docs instead of
having one for py- and other for py3- gives credit of that, because I
like things right, not duplicates, because everything counts when you
compile the same port for 8 years! Each copy of the ports tree comes
with a x11/partiwm port ready to be built! even if it is 29kb of
information... how many times people gets a copy of the ports tree?
But, OK, yes, today in the world where you reject people tagging
things !amd64 as "old and useless" what diference does it make some kb
right?

Finally, I run two i386 and one sparc64 server, so, again, you don't
know anything about me, yet you say that you hate me and you push me
into a position in witch I have to insult you back or defend stupid
things, because my work on ports speaks for me.
I never complain, I try to update, I always take feedback in a
positive way and do my best to improve and not make the same mistake
twice, I try to help when I can because I'm not a great C programmer
among other things, and you freely insult me, make assumptions and say
that you hate me.
Well, sorry for talking about x11/partiwm.
But, not for the port itself, but for a completely out of place
reaction from your part, was it worth it ?
Did you enjoy it?
Do you think that your message and ideas were transmitted in a way in
witch people will read it and be in the mood to think clearly?
Or do you fail to see how your reply is pretty much just an insult and
does not teach, but puts the other person defensive?

I think that you should think about that, and I'm not been a jerk for
saying so, I'm clearly inferior to you, you know about ports much much
more, you are smarter, better looking, a great programmer and you work
hard.
But shit... You should be wiser, because your attack was uncalled for.

Best regards.
Elias M. Mariani.
