I've looked at other ports and the SUBDIR mechanism looks perfect to keep things neat in this port, so I went ahead and created and modified the port so it now builds py3 and py versions as well as the emacs and main notmuch stuff. I've also used an .include so that I don't repeat the version in both the python Makefile and the main notmuch Makefile (one less thing to keep track of). Please let me know if that's a good idea.
