Hi, here's a port for a libpurple plugin adding support for rocket.chat from https://bitbucket.org/EionRobb/purple-rocketchat - seems to work fine here with pidgin using a token against $university account w/ sso.
the ultimate goal being indeed to make this work with minbif or bitlbee so that you can reach rocket.chat contacts from irssi.. testing welcome :)
