Apparently not, at least not this case.  I can look into this but as
mentioned off-list already, without having a suitable hardware key at
hand, testing this at runtime isn't really possible, so inspection and
port-wise polish is all I can offer.

I obviously withdraw my OK from earlier until this is fixed.
