Since it comes from https://gitlab.com/libtiff/libtiff/issues/172 which was fixed by a gdal developer (@rouault), and i have shitloads of tiff-with-jpeg compression images that i often open in qgis, i will quickly see if it breaks/affects this usecase.. Landry
