I can confirm same behaviour on my -current from January 15, running Gimp 2.10.14p0. (As a theory: It appears to happen only once during a Gimp session. That is - only on first Open or Save As, and after that I can work normally, but I can't say I've tested it throughly.) Regards, Erling
