http://www.ictworks.org/obtaining-and-converting-aster-gdem-data-srtm-radio-mobile#Why_to_Use_ASTER_Data
(aster data)

https://lpdaac.usgs.gov/lpdaac/content/download/4009/20069/version/3/file/ASTER+GDEM+Validation+Summary+Report.pdf

teriam certamente alterado o sub-titulo para "Why NOT Use ..."

Dpois estratos desse relatório.

Pag 7

"Both SRTM1 and SRTM3 have smaller RMSEs compared to NED for CONUS than the ASTER GDEM."

Pag 26

"The ASTER GDEM has been described as a 30m DEM, as has the ASTER DEM standard data product, which also has 30m postings. However, various investigators have concluded that the ASTER DEM standard data product does not have 30m ground resolution. [...] meaning that the spatial detail resolvable by the ASTER GDEM, at least of the data tested, is slightly better than 120m. "
