PS: O livro Openlayers begginers 2.1 vem a caminho. Já tenho em PDF mas
prefiro em versão papel :-)

Quanto aos mouse events, eu pessoalmente detesto fazer programacao de
events em javascript puro, normalmente tento usar jQuery:

Talvez seja melhor usar MapQuery ???
