Hello to all,

yes i'm working radio show on local ardio station since 25th of March 1995.
My show is dedicated to USA music and i'm glad i got good response from
labels and bands who send cds and listeners too. Many of Postcard2 mailing
list
members send cds to my show (Willard grant conspiracy,Hayden's ferry
records,
The Deliberate strangers to name just a few from the list). In fact i have
support
from all good labels and bands i really like to play such as BLOODSHOT REC.
Black dog rec., Freedom rec. As every seller tells only best thing about
what he is
selling let me show you other people opinions about my show. Here are just a
few
comments :
Great show!! I heard alot of stuff I'd never heard before.

Your whole show is wonderful, you have great taste.
It's an honor to hear our songs in the company of the others that you play.

      Dear Alex

Thanks for the tape. I just listened to it yesterday. It sounds
wonderful hearing our CDs on a European station. I'll let Chris (Buhalis)
and Jim (Roll) know about the tape.

Hi alex,
thank you so much for sending the tape of your show. We really
enjoyed the mix of music that our song blended into. You have a very nice
balance of songs included in your program.

Alex-
Excellent show! We all enjoyed listening to it.
It's too bad we don't have more radio shows like yours in the US. Keep
up the good work, and thanks for supporting Slide - it means a lot to us.

Hello Alex,
This is Jonathan from Secretly Canadian.
Well it took a while but I listened to your tape last night.
I think it was a good show, you had a very good mix of music and bands, if
only I knew what was being said. It was very exciting to hear a broadcast
from somewhere other than the U.S.

We got your tape yesterday. Thanks a lot. They guys listened to and love it.
Your program is better than a lot of the stations we have here in Southern
California.

And How i discovered UT. Easy. There are a lot of people who travells
a lot and bring some newspapers. We are living in some far away state
but we're not out of the world. I discovered UT when they released their
first
(then LP) No depression. Press wrote a lot of good reviews about ND so we
here bought it. Then was very popular Giant sand, Thin white rope, Husker
du,
The gun club, House of freaks, Sonic youth, Jesus lizard, Rapeman,
Social Distortion, Lazy cowgirls, Dead moon, Wipers, Treat her right,....
3 years after UT released ND was new wave with Palace brothers,
Reverend Horton Heat and still one of my favorite bands MULE !!!!
Now i'm sorry UT don't exist but my heart is on Jay side. I must admit that
Wilco don't mean to me a lot.
I'd like to answer other questions you have.
BTW my personal favorites are:

1. Townes Van Zandt (1000 places above all)
- Giant sand
- The Walkabouts
- Tindersticks (not from USA but...)
- Uncle tupelo / Son Volt
- Richard Buckner
- Michael Hurley
- Mule/ P.W. Long
- Guy Clark
- Nick Drake (not from USA,........)
- Captain Beefheart
- The Sonics
- Jim White
