I hate to say it, but I wasn't real impressed. In fact while I was
listening to it I found myself thinking about that line of Robbie Fulks
about soft-rock feminist crap. <g> It was just my first time and that's
hardly enough time to be sure, but only about half the songs were of a par
with the previous two records, and the rest were just OK. It was a promo
copy so credits were lacking, but the songs were written with the usual
suspects and weren't badly written, but there wasn't much of the old energy
aside from the predominantly slower tempos. I wanted and still want to like
the record. I'll listen some more and get back to you.
