I had the unmistakable pleasure of not only a great show from 3 P2 bands on
one bill but also meeting the players including the lovely and talented
Elena Skye and company, Dianna Quinn and Geff King and the rest of that DC
area twang gang Honky Tonk Confidential and the one, the only Buddy
"rotating rockets" Woodward of the Ghost Rockets.
Despite a balky sound system the trio of P2 bands represented themselves
quite nicely to a appreciative audience at the new home of the Barn Dance,
the Dogtown Lounge in Richmond. If you get the chance to see any of these
bands, by all means GO! The hat (ask Elena), the suit (ask Buddy) the fun,
the frivolity, the utter nonsense but most of all, just some great music.
