Hey gang, We're home from our crazy mini-tour, and let me tell you, what a strange, strange trip it's been... -Buffalo was great. Not a lot of people at the Mohawk, but the perks more than made up for it. Marty is truly a master at taking care of bands. My hat is off to you,my friend. If you ever play the Mohawk, be sure to get in a conversation with Barry the bartender. An adventure to say the least. Jamie Swedberg came in to see us from Toronto, that was worth the trip right there. No better friend I have than Jamie. -With constant reports of 12 inches of snow in Boston, we kept checking in to get reports. But after finally getting a hold of Stacey (who assured us that Boston only had about 3 inches, but gives lousy directions), GT trekked into Beantown, and despite the rudeness of drivers there, the show was a blast. Stacey must have had a gut feeling that GT and Lancaster County Prison would work well together. Not a dry T-shirt in the place after that show. I was asked to read the toast for Guinness' world record toast, but I allowed Mr. New York Guinness fro LCP to do the honors. -Guitarist Mike caught a bad virus, and pretty much was out of commission after the show. We ended up cancelling on the Pittsburgh show, but I still wound up running sound for the Polish Hillbillies when I got there. Erin was so wonderful as a hostess to me, and it was great to see Paul Ameritwang and everyone in the Deliberate Strangers once again. -the brakes on our van went out of commission sometime Sat., so big repairs ar in order for the Gravel Train Mojo Machine. Still, I had an absolute blast, loved the people that we played for, was glad to have done it, and will be looking forward to seeing everyone again soon. Mitch Matthews Gravel Train/Sunken Road
