* Country music star George Jones, critically injured in a car crash a
week ago, has developed pneumonia, a music industry official said.
Evelyn Shriver, president of Asylum Records, said the star was placed
back on a respirator because of the infection.
The development came as officials said they had no reason to believe
the accident was alcohol-related, even though an open bottle of vodka
was found in Jones' vehicle.
Jones, 67, has had a history of alcohol and drug abuse, but according
to friends has been drug-free for a number of years.
