Thanks! I am pretty excited about being here. I asked them if they had
any openings this season precisely because they were so good to us when
Mike played here last summer. I kind of begged the Mavericks to let Mike
have that show, and in that kind of situation, opening acts are often
treated like, well, opening acts. But these people were really nice to
all of
us, so I'm glad to be here. In addition to the Music Circus (where the
stage does indeed revolve and none of the 2500 seats is more than 50 feet
away from the stage) I also work for the Cape Cod Melody Tent. They're
owned by the same non-profit. I will have a complete schedule next week,
which I will post, but the Music Circus does have some good stuff this
year, like Vince Gill, Chris Isaak, and Buddy Guy, and the Cape has stuff
like Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson, Tony Bennett and Johnny Mathis.
Also, if any of you local young'uns or any of you HAVE young'uns looking
for work, there are jobs here in the box office and grounds and stuff.
Email me off list for a number to call.
