For those wishing to know: Edward Morton Daniel was a legal expert living in Kensington (near London), and he'd been asked to look into the administrations of various charities which were operating in the area. This is a general talk he gave on the subject. What's surprising is how a small legacy left in the 1600's/1700's had become a very rich charity when this was printed (1891).

All the best,
David,
England, with the overcast getting brighter
