For those wishing to know: The "Pen and Pencil Club" were a group of poets, writers, artists etc. who met at Aubrey House (Notting Hill, London) in the 1860-1880's. There are a few well known names but this book was printed by them for them - as a remembrance of the plesant times they had together, entertaining each other with these pieces.
