For those wishing to know: Rev. George Hall (1863-1918) had Gypsy friends as a child, and although he became a curate and eventually rector in the Church of England, still spent a lot of his time with his many Gypsy friends. The book gives numerous incidents from his life in connection with the Romany people.

All the best,
David,
Cloudy but rather hot England
