For those wishing to know: some extra letters that John Church
(1780-1833) wrote (some when he was in prison, some later), that he no
doubt wanted to publish. Rather than add them to the end of his existing
Valley of Achor book and call it a second edition, he decided to bundle
them into a volume 2, reprinting the original 1818 edition again and
calling that a second edition.
