For those wishing to know: Around 1820 Brompton, London, was a small but
growing area, with the middle classes moving in. They needed schools for
their children, and with no national system available, they banded
together and formed a new business: The Western Grammar School. Like all
businesses their were shareholders and it was necessary to have rules and
regulations = mainly saying how the shareholders were to be treated etc.
There's actually very little about how the children were to be educated.
