For those wishing to know: Sir James Allan Park was a British Judge and wrote this pamphlet as he felt a lot of "young people" were not participating in the Church of England ritual for spurious reasons. It's intersting that he says that far fewer men than women were participating - the tract being written 1804. It was repeatedly republished and sold well, and may provide early signs of what became the Oxford Movement, although I think he wouldn't have agreed with them.

All the best,
David
Sunny England with light gray clouds
