For those wishing to know: George Bryan was a printer working in Chelsea, England, whoin 1847 entered a competition for an essay on the "temporal advantages of the Sabbath". He didn't win he decided to publish his essay, which gives quite a few details of Sabbath observance in Chelsea, the hard lot of a working printer etc.
