For those wishing to know: this was a rather late biography of George Borrow, published 1918, and a lot of the material is recycled from earlier biographies, typically Knapp. However, Walling was a Cornishman and he researched the Cornish connections of George Borrow which results in a few chapters of largely new material. Walling also makes literary judgements on Borrow.
