Danke, Markus, Tipp 'mail client' war zielführend. Ich hatte in den Servereinstellungen für iCloud Mail tatsächlich meinen SMTP Server eingetragen, was eigentlich unnötig ist. Habe die entsprechenden Logs gefunden. Denen kann ich entnehmen, daß dadurch, daß ich die Email durch 2 SMTP Server geschickt hatte, eine gmail policy ansprang, wenn ich das richtig interpretiere.
