To monitor your IPv6 connectivity, you could run a cron job that
runs a script that pings a well-connected IPv6 address:

    #!/bin/sh
    ping -q -c 10 some-ipv6 | loggger -t check-ping -p daemon.info

and scan the log every day or so.
