[pfx] How to build current stable release on Ubuntu/Debian?

Hi, so far I am using the postfix package of my distribution, which is 
probably already considered ‘legacy’. For this reason I would like to 
compile the current stable version 3.10.1. Is there any 
documentation/instructions for Debian/Ubuntu on how to do this? What 
needs to be considered when using virtual mailboxes? Are there any other 
pitfalls?
