Closing down SMTP access is a completely different thing from traffic
interception. Many ISPs even block outgoing connections to port 25 by
default and you have to ask them to unblock - I think it's OK as well, if
they don't make the procedure too hard and complicated. But putting a MiTM
box without user consent, and even knowledge, is not.
