Yes, I agree. I have just checked iptables for the third time but
found nothing for google in/out IPs that I know about (actually
checking /16)...

Any others to look for?
209.85.128.0/17 accounts for every GMail attempt to send me mail in the
past week. It is possible that this is a spam-outlet range which
includes little or no high-value mail.
