Postfix 3.8 is still supported, nothing serious was found, but I expect
that a couple of the bugfixes are likely to end up in a future 3.8 patch
release. Your vendored 3.8.6 likely includes backports of various
updates, which make it difficult to tell at a glance how it relates to
the upstream version. The latest upstream releases are:
Release git tag commit id
------- ------- ---------
postfix-3.8.15 v3.8.15 cb1ee40d02
postfix-3.9.9 v3.9.9 89a6f6de33
postfix-3.10.8 v3.10.8 af0d07d1a9
postfix-3.11.1 v3.11.1 3f93cde4b8
The tags and commit ids are from my Postfix git repo, but anyone
choosing to build from source should start from the signed tarballs
released by Wietse.
