The point I was making here is that MS will accept email from my new
Postfix installation but Gmail won't, and it used to accept email from
exim4, through the same public IP address and with the same DNS entries.

I haven't got into forwarding yet, but I'll keep your message for when
I do. I was forwarding from my emergency Hotmail account to get an email
through to a Gmail account.
