I had a configuration with
smtp_tls_session_cache_database = btree:${data_directory}/smtp_scache
I saw in the logs
postfix/tlsmgr[8777]: warning: /var/lib/postfix/smtp_scache: hash/btree
support is deprecated. Please switch to cdb or lmdb.
Thus I changed to
smtp_tls_session_cache_database = cdb:${data_directory}/smtp_scache
and removed the file
Then I had error
postfix/tlsmgr[16031]: fatal: table cdb:/var/lib/postfix/smtp_scache:
sequence operation is not supported
So its clear I made an error by following a bit too blindly the warning
message.
/usr/share/doc/postfix/NON_BERKELEYDB_README.gz does not mention the
cache database (postfix 3.11-5, debian testing)
Following https://www.postfix.org/TLS_README.html I commented out the
configuration, and it works, thus no problem, but I am curious of what I
missed
