That does not mean I have to agree with him and I'm not prepared to say 'Why is this?' Who better to ask than the author?
Genius coders often don't see why something matters to an end user. They get stuck in arguing the semantics. A trawl through google asking how to disable Postscatter will give you some idea of the quality of the answers (which are mostly just short of abuse). That is not helpful. So when you mention Microsoft support I don't think abuse is something I would expect as the norm. I tried to keep it light hearted - but the same old thing happens. It's really *not* worth getting into a fight about it. It just creates bad feelings and gets a valid feature no nearer.
