This answer has been asked many times before so you can find many hints
in the list archives.

The tricky part in creating a high-availability mail system is not SMTP.
It is often sufficient to have multiple SMTP servers and use DNS as a
method of balancing the load and creating redundancy. While there can
be legitimate reasons for clustering Postfix, make sure you really need
to and that it just doesn't introduce complexity and make the system
more fragile.
