Hm, my "problem" (?) is probably related to the 20090807 change:
Workaround: NS record lookups for certain domains always
fail, while other queries for those domains always succeed
(and even return replies with NS records as additional
information).
Ah, I think I see. Both those hosts have an A record, but no
MX record.
Assuming this is related to the question I just posted about
reject_unknown_helo_hostname citing the same change, it
appears to me that the helo checks are now incorrectly
requiring a valid MX record.
