The server is poorly configured, because the 555 code is not followed
by text. However, all reply codes starting with 5 mean that the
server will not accept the mail.

According to RFC5321,

4.1.1.11. Mail-Parameter and Rcpt-Parameter Error Responses

If the server SMTP does not recognize or cannot implement one or more
of the parameters associated with a particular MAIL FROM or RCPT TO
command, it will return code 555.

And in the examples section:

555 MAIL FROM/RCPT TO parameters not recognized or not implemented
